 Whereas the Minister of Justice has nominated Garland P. Brooks to be a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Committee for the Province of Nova Scotia;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to Order in Council P.C. 2017-10 of January 19, 2017, appoints Garland P. Brooks of Halifax, Nova Scotia, as a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Committee for the Province of Nova Scotia to hold office during pleasure for a term expiring June 1, 2019.

Attendu que la ministre de la Justice a proposé que Garland P. Brooks soit nommé à titre de membre du Comité consultatif indépendant à la magistrature pour la province de la Nouvelle-Écosse,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil, en vertu du décret C.P. 2017-10 du 19 janvier 2017, nomme Garland P. Brooks, de Halifax (Nouvelle-Écosse), membre du Comité consultatif indépendant à la magistrature pour la province de la Nouvelle-Écosse, à titre amovible, pour un mandat se terminant le 1^er juin 2019.
