Whereas the Chief Justice of Nova Scotia has nominated the Honourable Patrick J. Duncan, a Judge of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, to be a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Committee for the Province of Nova Scotia;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to Order in Council P.C. 2017-10 of January 19, 2017, appoints the Honourable Patrick J. Duncan as a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Committee for the Province of Nova Scotia to hold office during pleasure for a term expiring June 1, 2019.

Attendu que le juge en chef de la Nouvelle-Écosse a proposé que l’honorable Patrick J. Duncan, juge de la Cour suprême de la Nouvelle-Écosse, soit nommé à titre de membre du Comité consultatif indépendant à la magistrature pour la province de la Nouvelle-Écosse,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil, en vertu du décret C.P. 2017-10 du 19 janvier 2017, nomme l’honorable Patrick J. Duncan, membre du Comité consultatif indépendant à la magistrature pour la province de la Nouvelle-Écosse, à titre amovible, pour un mandat se terminant le 1^er juin 2019.
