Whereas the Board of Directors of the Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation has authorized Stanley Lazar, Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation, to act as President of the Corporation, effective February 1, 2017;

And whereas the person so authorized by the Board may not act as President for a period exceeding 60 days without the approval of the Governor in Council;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, pursuant to subsection 5(2) of the Freshwater Fish Marketing Act, approves the decision of the Board of Directors of the Corporation to authorize Stanley Lazar of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation, to act as President of the Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation, until he is no longer required to act in this capacity.

Attendu que le conseil d’administration de l’Office de commercialisation du poisson d’eau douce a autorisé Stanley Lazar, directeur financier de l’Office, à assurer, à titre intérimaire, le poste de président de l’Office, à compter du 1^er février 2017,

Attendu que la durée de l’intérim est, sauf dérogation approuvée par le gouverneur en conseil, limitée à soixante jours,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Pêches et des Océans, et en vertu du paragraphe 5(2) de la Loi sur la commercialisation du poisson d’eau douce, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve la décision du conseil d’administration de l’Office de commercialisation du poisson d’eau douce d’autoriser Stanley Lazar, de Winnipeg (Manitoba), directeur financier de l’Office, à exercer la présidence de l’Office, afin d’assurer l’intérim jusqu’à ce qu’il ne soit plus nécessaire pour lui d’agir à ce titre.
