   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development:

(a)  pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Yukon Act, reappoints Gerald R. Isaac of Whitehorse, Yukon, as Administrator of Yukon to execute the office and functions of the Commissioner during his absence or illness or other inability or when the office of Commissioner is vacant, to hold office during pleasure, for a term of one year; and

(b)  pursuant to section 7 of the Yukon Act, fixes his salary at the rate set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($11,500 - $13,000).

   Sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a)  en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur le Yukon, nomme de nouveau Gerald R. Isaac, de Whitehorse (Yukon), au poste d’administrateur du Yukon pour assurer l’intérim en cas d’absence ou d’empêchement du commissaire ou de vacance de son poste, à titre amovible, pour un mandat d’un an;

b)  en vertu de l’article 7 de la Loi sur le Yukon, fixe son traitement au taux spécifié à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (11 500 $ – 13 000 $).
