His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Small Business and Tourism, pursuant to sections 9 and 16 of the Canadian Tourism Commission Act, appoints Ben Cowan-Dewar of Toronto, Ontario, to be Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Tourism Commission, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is comprised of a per diem within the range ($310 - $375) and an annual retainer within the range ($8,000 - $9,400).

 

   Sur recommandation de la ministre de la Petite Entreprise et du Tourisme et en vertu des articles 9 et 16 de la Loi sur la Commission canadienne du tourisme, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil nomme Ben Cowan-Dewar, de Toronto (Ontario), président du conseil d’administration de la Commission canadienne du tourisme, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, laquelle rémunération est composée d’un taux journalier dans l’échelle (310 $ - 375 $) et des honoraires annuels dans l’échelle (8 000 $ - 9 400 $).
