His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food,

(a)  pursuant to section 3 of the Canada Grain Act, appoints Anthony Douglas Chorney of East Selkirk, Manitoba, to be a commissioner of the Canadian Grain Commission to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years;

(b)  pursuant to section 4 of the Canada Grain Act, designates Anthony Douglas Chorney to be assistant chief commissioner of the Canadian Grain Commission; and

(c)  pursuant to section 5 of the Canada Grain Act, fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 5;

effective February 13, 2017.

Sur recommandation du ministre de l’Agriculture et de l’Agroalimentaire, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a)  en vertu de l’article 3 de la Loi sur les grains du Canada, nomme Anthony Douglas Chorney de East Selkirk (Manitoba), commissaire de la Commission canadienne des grains, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b)  en vertu de l’article 4 de la Loi sur les grains du Canada, désigne Anthony Douglas Chorney, vice-président de la Commission canadienne des grains;

c)  en vertu de l’article 5 de la Loi sur les grains du Canada, fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 5;

à compter du 13 février 2017.
