 Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, the Honourable Robert G. Richards, Chief Justice of Saskatchewan, will be unable to act from January 1 to February 4, 2017, inclusive, from February 28 to March 7, 2017, inclusive, and from March 19 to April 1, 2017, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for those periods;

 

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867,

 

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert G. Richards as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective January 1, 2017;

 

(b) appoints the Honourable Jacelyn A. Ryan-Froslie to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective January 1, 2017;

 

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Jacelyn A. Ryan-Froslie as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective January 15, 2017;

 

(d) appoints the Honourable Neal W. Caldwell to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective January 15, 2017;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Neal W. Caldwell as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective February 5, 2017;

 

(f) appoints the Honourable Robert G. Richards to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective February 5, 2017;

 

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert G. Richards as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective February 28, 2017;

 

(h) appoints the Honourable Neal W. Caldwell to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective February 28, 2017;

 

(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Neal W. Caldwell as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective March 8, 2017;

 

(j) appoints the Honourable Robert G. Richards to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 8, 2017;

 

(k) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert G. Richards as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective March 19, 2017;

(l) appoints the Honourable Ralph K. Ottenbreit to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 19, 2017;

 

(m) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Ralph K. Ottenbreit as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective April 2, 2017; and

 

(n) appoints the Honourable Robert G. Richards to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 2, 2017.

 


 Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, l’honorable Robert G. Richards, juge en chef de la Saskatchewan, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 1er janvier au 4 février 2017, du 28 février au 7 mars 2017 et du 19 mars au 1er avril 2017 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

 

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert G. Richards au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 1er janvier 2017;

 

b) nomme l’honorable Jacelyn A. Ryan-Froslie à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 1er janvier 2017;

 

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Jacelyn A. Ryan-Froslie au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 15 janvier 2017;

 

d) nomme l’honorable Neal W. Caldwell à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 15 janvier 2017;

f) nomme l’honorable Robert G. Richards à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 5 février 2017;

 

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert G. Richards au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 28 février 2017;

 

h) nomme l’honorable Neal W. Caldwell à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 28 février 2017;

 

i) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Neal W. Caldwell au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 8 mars 2017;

 

j) nomme l’honorable Robert G. Richards à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 8 mars 2017;

 

k) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert G. Richards au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 19 mars 2017;
