His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Exchange of Diplomatic Letters under the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters as amended by the 2010 Protocol to allow the automatic sharing of financial account information for the year 2017 between Canada and Switzerland; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing William Francis Morneau, Minister of Finance; Diane Lebouthillier, Minister of National Revenue; François-Philippe Champagne, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance; Paul Rochon, Deputy Minister of Finance or Jennifer MacIntyre, Ambassador of Canada to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Exchange of Diplomatic Letters under the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters as amended by the 2010 Protocol to allow the automatic sharing of financial account information for the year 2017 between Canada and Switzerland.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’échange de notes diplomatiques fait au titre de la Convention concernant l’assistance administrative mutuelle en matière fiscale, dans sa version modifiée par le Protocole de 2010, afin de permettre l’échange automatique de renseignements relatifs aux comptes financiers entre le Canada et la Suisse pour l’année 2017;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant William Francis Morneau, ministre des Finances, ou Diane Lebouthillier, ministre du Revenu national, ou François-Philippe Champagne, secrétaire parlementaire du ministre des Finances, ou Paul Rochon, sous-ministre des Finances, ou Jennifer MacIntyre, ambassadrice du Canada en Suisse et au Liechtenstein, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’échange de notes diplomatiques fait au titre de la Convention concernant l’assistance administrative mutuelle en matière fiscale, dans sa version modifiée par le Protocole de 2010, afin de permettre l’échange automatique de renseignements relatifs aux comptes financiers entre le Canada et la Suisse pour l’année 2017.
