Whereas, pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Navigation Protection Act, the Governor in Council is satisfied that the addition to the schedule to that Act of the references to navigable waters set out in the annexed Regulations is in the regional economic interest or is in the public interest;

 

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to subsection 29(2) of the Navigation Protection Act, makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Schedule to the Navigation Protection Act.

 

Attendu que le gouverneur en conseil, conformément au paragraphe 29(2) de la Loi sur la protection de la navigation, est convaincu que l’ajout à l’annexe de cette loi des eaux navigables prévues par le Règlement ci-après est dans l’intérêt économique régional ou dans l’intérêt public,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu du paragraphe 29(2) de la Loi sur la protection de la navigation, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant l’annexe de la Loi sur la protection de la navigation, ci-après.
