Whereas, in accordance with subsection 74(4) of the Indian Act, the reserve of the Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation in British Columbia was divided into electoral sections for voting purposes;

And whereas the name of the Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation was removed from the Indian Bands Council Elections Order by the Order Amending the Indian Bands Council Elections Order (Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation) and was added to the schedule to the First Nations Elections Act by the Order Amending the Schedule to the First Nations Elections Act (Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation);

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and pursuant to subsection 74(4) of the Indian Act, makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Indian Bands Council Method of Election Regulations (Stswecemc Xgattem First Nation) (Miscellaneous Program).

Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 74(4) de la Loi sur les Indiens, la réserve de la Première Nation Stswecemc Xgattem, en Colombie-Britannique, a été divisée en sections électorales aux fins de votation;

Attendu que, par l’Arrêté modifiant l’Arrêté sur l’élection du conseil de bandes indiennes (Première Nation Stswecemc Xgattem), le nom de la Première Nation Stswecemc Xgattem a été retiré de l’Arrêté sur l’élection du conseil de bandes indiennes et que, par Arrêté modifiant l’annexe de la Loi sur les élections au sein de premières nations (Première Nation Stswecemc Xgattem), il a été ajouté à l’annexe de la Loi sur les élections au sein de premières nations,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien et en vertu du paragraphe 74(4) de la Loi sur les Indiens, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil prend le Règlement correctif modifiant le Règlement sur le mode d’élection du conseil de certaines bandes indiennes (Première Nation Stswecemc Xgattem), ci-après.
