Whereas the Honourable Heidi Levenson Polowin, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice in and for the Province of Ontario, died on May 5, 2016, while holding that office;

 

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to section 44 of the Judges Act, grants an annuity of $104,700 to Stephen Polowin, survivor of the Honourable Heidi Levenson Polowin, to commence on May 6, 2016, and to continue during his life.

 

Attendu que l’honorable Heidi Levenson Polowin est décédée le 5 mai 2016, alors qu’elle occupait le poste de juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’article 44 de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil accorde, une pension viagère de 104 700 $ à Stephen Polowin, survivant de l’honorable Heidi Levenson Polowin, payable à compter du 6 mai 2016.
