Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Quebec, the Honourable Julie Dutil, Judge of the Court of Appeal of Quebec, will be unable to act from June 24 to July 11, 2016, inclusive, and from August 10 to August 12, 2016, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for those periods;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867,

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Julie Dutil as Administrator of the Government of Quebec, effective June 24, 2016;

(b) appoints the Honourable Louis Rochette to be Administrator of the Government of Quebec, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 24, 2016;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Louis Rochette as Administrator of the Government of Quebec, effective July 4, 2016;

(d) appoints the Honourable Lorne Giroux to be Administrator of the Government of Quebec, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective July 4, 2016;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Lorne Giroux as Administrator of the Government of Quebec, effective July 12, 2016;

(f) appoints the Honourable Julie Dutil to be Administrator of the Government of Quebec, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective July 12, 2016;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Julie Dutil as Administrator of the Government of Quebec, effective August 10, 2016;

(h) appoints the Honourable Lorne Giroux to be Administrator of the Government of Quebec, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective August 10, 2016;

(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Lorne Giroux as Administrator of the Government of Quebec, effective August 13, 2016; and

(j) appoints the Honourable Julie Dutil to be Administrator of the Government of Quebec, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective August 13, 2016.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement du Québec, l’honorable Julie Dutil, juge de la Cour d’appel du Québec, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 24 juin au 11 juillet 2016 et du 10 au 12 août 2016 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Julie Dutil au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Québec, avec prise d’effet le 24 juin 2016;

b) nomme l’honorable Louis Rochette à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Québec afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Québec durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 24 juin 2016;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Louis Rochette au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Québec, avec prise d’effet le 4 juillet 2016;

d) nomme l’honorable Lorne Giroux à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Québec afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Québec durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 4 juillet 2016;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Lorne Giroux au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Québec, avec prise d’effet le 12 juillet 2016;

f) nomme l’honorable Julie Dutil à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Québec afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Québec durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 12 juillet 2016;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Julie Dutil au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Québec, avec prise d’effet le 10 août 2016;

h) nomme l’honorable Lorne Giroux à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Québec afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Québec durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 10 août 2016;

i) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Lorne Giroux au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Québec, avec prise d’effet le 13 août 2016;

j) nomme l’honorable Julie Dutil à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Québec afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Québec durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 13 août 2016.
