His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister:

(a)  pursuant to subsection 8(1) of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act, appoints Peter Boehm of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Associate Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, to hold office during pleasure;

(b)  pursuant to subsection 8(2) of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act, designates Peter Boehm to be Deputy Minister for International Development to be styled Deputy Minister of International Development; and

(c)  fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($221,300 - $260,300).

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

(a)  en vertu du paragraphe 8(1) de la Loi sur le ministère des Affaires étrangères, du Commerce et du Développement, nomme Peter Boehm, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de sous-ministre délégué des Affaires étrangères, à titre amovible;

(b)  en vertu du paragraphe 8(2) de la Loi sur le ministère des Affaires étrangères, du Commerce et du Développement, désigne Peter Boehm comme sous-ministre du Développement international;

(c)  fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (221 300 $ - 260 300 $).
