Whereas the Honourable Michel Beaudry, a Judge of the Federal Court, will attain the age of seventy-five years on June 12, 2016, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of subsection 99(2) of the Constitution Act, 1867;

And whereas the Honourable Michel Beaudry has held judicial office for at least ten years;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, grants an annuity of $209,400 to the Honourable Michel Beaudry, commencing on June 12, 2016 and continuing during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable Michel Beaudry, juge de la Cour fédérale, atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 12 juin 2016 et que, en conséquence, il cessera d’occuper son poste à cette date en vertu du paragraphe 99(2) de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

Attendu que l’honorable Michel Beaudry a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil accorde à l’honorable Michel Beaudry, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 209 400 $, payable à compter du 12 juin 2016.
