His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, pursuant to subsection 60(2) of the Victims Bill of Rights Act (“the Act”), chapter 13 of the Statutes of Canada, 2015, fixes June 1, 2016 as the day on which subsection 46(1) of the Act, paragraph 26(1)(d) of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act, as enacted by subsection 46(3) of the Act, and subsections 48(3) and 49(1) and (3) of the Act come into force.

 

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile et en vertu du paragraphe 60(2) de la Loi sur la Charte des droits des victimes (la « Loi »), chapitre 13 des Lois du Canada (2015), Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil fixe au 1^er juin 2016 la date d’entrée en vigueur du paragraphe 46(1) de la Loi, de l’alinéa 26(1)d) de la Loi sur le système correctionnel et la mise en liberté sous condition, édicté par le paragraphe 46(3) de la Loi, et des paragraphes 48(3) et 49(1) et (3) de la Loi.
