Whereas the Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, the Honourable Robert J. Bauman, Chief Justice of British Columbia, will be unable to act from May 9 to May 13, 2016, inclusive, and from May 16 to May 20, 2016, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that another person be appointed Administrator for those periods;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867,

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert J. Bauman as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective May 9, 2016;

(b) appoints the Honourable Austin F. Cullen to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective May 9, 2016;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Austin F. Cullen as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective May 14, 2016;

(d) appoints the Honourable Robert J. Bauman to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective May 14, 2016;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert J. Bauman as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective May 16, 2016;

(f) appoints the Honourable Austin F. Cullen to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective May 16, 2016;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Austin F. Cullen as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective May 21, 2016; and

(h) appoints the Honourable Robert J. Bauman to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective May 21, 2016.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, l’honorable Robert J. Bauman, juge en chef de la Colombie-Britannique, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 9 au 13 mai 2016 et du 16 au 20 mai 2016 et qu’il est donc nécessaire qu’une autre personne soit nommée administrateur pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert J. Bauman au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 9 mai 2016;

b) nomme l’honorable Austin F. Cullen au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 9 mai 2016;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Austin F. Cullen au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 14 mai 2016;

d) nomme l’honorable Robert J. Bauman à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 14 mai 2016;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert J. Bauman au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 16 mai 2016;

f) nomme l’honorable Austin F. Cullen au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 16 mai 2016;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Austin F. Cullen au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 21 mai 2016;

h) nomme l’honorable Robert J. Bauman au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 21 mai 2016.
