Whereas the Honourable J. Roger McIntyre, a Judge of the Court of Queen’s Bench of New Brunswick, Trial Division, will attain the age of seventy-five years on February 8, 2016, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of subsection 99(2) of the Constitution Act, 1867;

 

And whereas the Honourable J. Roger McIntyre has held judicial office for at least ten years;

 

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, grants an annuity of $205,733.33 to the Honourable J. Roger McIntyre, commencing on February 8, 2016, and continuing during his life.

 

Attendu que l’honorable J. Roger McIntyre, juge de la Cour du Banc de la Reine du Nouveau-Brunswick, Division de la première instance, atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 8 février 2016 et que, en conséquence, il cessera d’occuper son poste à cette date en vertu du paragraphe 99(2) de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

 

Attendu que l’honorable J. Roger McIntyre a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil accorde à l’honorable J. Roger McIntyre, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 205 733,33 $, payable à compter du 8 février 2016.
