Whereas the Honourable Perry W. Schulman, a Judge of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Manitoba, will attain the age of seventy-five years on December 29, 2015, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of subsection 99(2) of the Constitution Act, 1867;

 

And whereas the Honourable Perry W. Schulman has held judicial office for at least ten years;

 

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, grants an annuity of $205,733.33 to the Honourable Perry W. Schulman, beginning on December 29, 2015, and continuing during his life.

 

Attendu que l’honorable Perry W. Schulman, juge de la Cour du Banc de la Reine du Manitoba, atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 29 décembre 2015 et que, en conséquence, il cessera d’occuper son poste à cette date en vertu du paragraphe 99(2) de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

 

Attendu que l’honorable Perry W. Schulman a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

 

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil accorde à l’honorable Perry W. Schulman, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 205 733,33 $, payable à compter du 29 décembre 2015.
