His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes

(a) the Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement; or

(b) the Minister of Foreign Affairs to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Chrystia Freeland, Minister for International Trade, or Christine Hogan, Deputy Minister for International Trade, or Kirsten Hillman, A/Assistant Deputy Minister for International Trade, or Mario Bot, High Commissioner for Canada in New Zealand, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Trans-Pacific Agreement.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise :

a) soit le premier ministre ou le ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de Partenariat transpacifique;

b) soit le ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Chrystia Freeland, ministre du Commerce international, ou Christine Hogan, sous-ministre du Commerce international, ou Kirsten Hillman, sous-ministre adjointe du Commerce international par intérim, ou Mario Bot, haut-commissaire du Canada auprès de la Nouvelle-Zélande, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord du Partenariat transpacifique.
