His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 127.1(1)(c) of the Public Service Employment Act and Order in Council P.C. 2016-11 of January 19, 2016, appoints Indira V. Samarasekera, O.C., of Vancouver, British Columbia, as a special adviser to the Prime Minister, to serve as a federal member of the Independent Advisory Board for Senate Appointments, to hold office during pleasure for a term of 18 months.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil, en vertu de l’alinéa 127.1(1)c) de la Loi sur l’emploi dans la fonction publique et du décret C.P. 2016-11 du 19 janvier 2016, nomme Indira V. Samarasekera, O.C., de Vancouver (Colombie-Britannique), au poste de conseillère spéciale du premier ministre, afin d’agir en tant que membre fédérale du Comité consultatif indépendant sur les nominations au Sénat, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de 18 mois.
