                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, pursuant to Vote No. 1 (Foreign Affairs) of Appropriation Act No. 2, 2003-2004, hereby:

          (a)      appoints the Honourable Jocelyne Bourgon, P.C., O.C. as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Canada to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development in Paris;

          (b)      fixes her salary and other employment conditions as set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($202,100 - $237,800); and

          (c)      upon appointment of her successor, provides for a transitional period to permit the provision of information or advice with respect to any related matter.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères et en vertu du crédit n° 1 (Affaires étrangères) de la Loi de crédits n° 2 pour 2003-2004, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

          a)       nomme l’honorable Jocelyne Bourgon, C.P., O.C. en qualité d’ambassadeur et représentant permanent du Canada auprès de l’Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques à Paris;

          b)       fixe son traitement et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (202 100 $ - 237 800 $);

          c)       accorde une période transitoire, au moment de la nomination de son successeur, lui permettant de fournir les renseignements et les avis qui se rapportent à tous les sujets reliés.
