His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, approves that the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, on behalf of the Government of Canada, enter into an arrangement with any province or territory with an existing arrangement for the provision of provincial or territorial police services made pursuant to subsection 20(1) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, other than British Columbia, and any airport authority of a Class 1 airport in those provinces or territories, for the use or employment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in aiding the administration of justice in those provinces or territories at a Class 1 airport and in carrying into effect the laws in force that province or territory, which arrangement is substantially in accordance with the draft set out in the annexed schedule.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil agrée la conclusion par le ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, d’un arrangement avec les provinces et territoires ayant déjà conclu un arrangement pour la prestation de services de police provinciaux ou territoriaux au titre du paragraphe 20(1) de la Loi sur la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, autres que la Colombie-Britannique, et toute autorité aéroportuaire d’un aéroport de catégorie 1 dans ces provinces ou territoires, pour l’utilisation de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada en vue de l’administration de la justice dans ces provinces ou territoires dans un aéroport de catégorie 1 et de la mise en œuvre des lois qui y sont en vigueur, lequel arrangement est conforme en substance à l’ébauche figurant à l’annexe ci-jointe.
