   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Nunavut Act, appoints Nellie Taptaqut Kusugak of Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, as Commissioner of Nunavut for a term of five years, and fixes her employment conditions as set out in the annexed schedule.

   Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur le Nunavut, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil nomme Nellie Taptaqut Kusugak, de Rankin Inlet (Nunavut), au poste de commissaire du Nunavut pour une période de cinq ans, et fixe ses conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe.
