Whereas the annexed Regulations provide for the communication of information referred to in paragraph 55(1)(s) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act to certain classes of persons and, in the opinion of the Governor in Council, it is necessary to communicate that information to those classes of persons for the proper administration or enforcement of the Act or the regulations;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to subsection 55(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Narcotic Control Regulations and the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (Communication of Information).

Attendu que le règlement ci-après prévoit la communication de renseignements visés à l’alinéa 55(1)s) de la Loi réglementant certaines drogues et autres substances à certaines catégories de personnes et que le gouverneur en conseil estime nécessaire que ces renseignements leur soient communiqués pour l’application ou l’exécution de cette loi ou de ses règlements,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre de la Santé et en vertu du paragraphe 55(1) de la Loi réglementant certaines drogues et autres substances, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur les stupéfiants et le Règlement sur la marihuana à des fins médicales (communication de renseignements), ci-après.
