                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to the Special Appointment Regulations, No. 2003-13, hereby appoints Michael Wernick of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet (Plans and Consultations), Privy Council Office, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary and other employment conditions as set out in the schedule hereto, which salary is within the range ($153,000 - $180,100), effective July 2, 2003.

                     Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu du Règlement n^o 2003-13 portant affectation spéciale, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Michael Wernick, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de sous-secrétaire du Cabinet (planification et consultations), Bureau du Conseil privé, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement et d’autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-après, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (153 000 $ - 180 100 $), à compter du 2 juillet 2003.
