Whereas, by Order in Council P.C. 2011-233 of February 10, 2011, the resignation of the Honourable Ian M. Gordon, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice in and for the Province of Ontario, was accepted and he was granted an annuity of $180,933.33 effective April 2, 2011, which was adjusted to $187,400, in accordance with section 25 of the Judges Act;

And whereas the Honourable Ian M. Gordon died on March 12, 2015, leaving a survivor, Barbara Anne Gordon;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to section 44 of the Judges Act, grants an annuity of $93,700 to Barbara Anne Gordon, effective March 13, 2015, and to continue during her life.

Attendu que, par le décret C.P. 2011-233 du 10 février 2011, la démission de l’honorable Ian M. Gordon, juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario, a été acceptée et qu’il lui a été accordé une pension de 180 933,33 $ à compter du 2 avril 2011, laquelle a été rajustée à 187 400 $ conformément à l’article 25 de la Loi sur les juges;

Attendu que l’honorable Ian M. Gordon est décédé le 12 mars 2015 et qu’il laisse une survivante, Barbara Anne Gordon,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’article 44 de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil accorde, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 93 700 $ à Barbara Anne Gordon, payable à compter du 13 mars 2015.
