Whereas the Honourable Eugene G. Ewaschuk, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice in and for the Province of Ontario, will attain the age of seventy-five years on June 23, 2015, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of subsection 99(2) of the Constitution Act, 1867;

And whereas the Honourable Eugene G. Ewaschuk has held judicial office for at least ten years;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, grants an annuity of $205,733.33 to the Honourable Eugene G. Ewaschuk, commencing on June 23, 2015, and continuing during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable Eugene G. Ewaschuk, juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario, atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 23 juin 2015 et que, en conséquence, il cessera d’occuper son poste à cette date en vertu du paragraphe 99(2) de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

Attendu que l’honorable Eugene G. Ewaschuk a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil accorde à l’honorable Eugene G. Ewaschuk, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 205 733,33 $, payable à compter du 23 juin 2015.
