Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, the Honourable Richard J. Chartier, Chief Justice of Manitoba, will be unable to act from June 8 to June 11, 2015, inclusive, and from June 21 to 23, 2015, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that another person be appointed Administrator for those periods;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867,

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Richard J. Chartier as Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, effective June 8, 2015;

(b) appoints the Honourable Shane I. Perlmutter to be Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 8, 2015;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Shane I. Perlmutter as Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, effective June 12, 2015;

(d) appoints the Honourable Richard J. Chartier to be Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 12, 2015;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Richard J. Chartier as Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, effective June 21, 2015;

(f) appoints the Honourable Shane I. Perlmutter to be Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 21, 2015;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Shane I. Perlmutter as Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, effective June 24, 2015; and

(h) appoints the Honourable Richard J. Chartier to be Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 24, 2015.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, l’honorable Richard J. Chartier, juge en chef du Manitoba, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 8 au 11 juin 2015 et du 21 au 23 juin 2015, et qu’il est donc nécessaire qu’une autre personne soit nommée administrateur pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Richard J. Chartier au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, avec prise d’effet le 8 juin 2015;

b) nomme l’honorable Shane I. Perlmutter à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Manitoba durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 8 juin 2015;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Shane I. Perlmutter au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, avec prise d’effet le 12 juin 2015;

d) nomme l’honorable Richard J. Chartier à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Manitoba durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 12 juin 2015;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Richard J. Chartier au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, avec prise d’effet le 21 juin 2015;

f) nomme l’honorable Shane I. Perlmutter à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Manitoba durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 21 juin 2015;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Shane I. Perlmutter au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, avec prise d’effet le 24 juin 2015;

h) nomme l’honorable Richard J. Chartier à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Manitoba durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 24 juin 2015.
