His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act and subsection 8(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, approves that the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration enter into an agreement with Ontario, substantially in accordance with the annexed Canada-Ontario Agreement on Foreign Workers, which provides that the Agreement will be valid for five years from the date on which it is signed by the last of the signatories to do so.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur le ministère de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et du paragraphe 8(1) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve la conclusion, par le ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, avec l’Ontario, d’un accord conforme en substance à l’Accord Canada-Ontario relatif aux travailleurs étrangers ci-joint, lequel accord dispose qu’il sera valide pour une période de cinq ans à compter de la date où la dernière partie à le signer appose sa signature.
