Whereas the Honourable Joseph D. Sheard, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice in and for the Province of Ontario, attained the age of seventy-five years on March 1, 1999, retired on that date and was granted an annuity of $117,200.00 by Order in Council P.C. 1999-357 dated March 4, 1999;

And whereas the Honourable Joseph D. Sheard died on January 19, 2015, leaving a survivor, Gloria Sheard;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to section 44 of the Judges Act, grants an annuity of $58,600 to Gloria Sheard, effective January 20, 2015, and to continue during her life.

Attendu que l’honorable Joseph D. Sheard, juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario, a atteint l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 1^er mars 1999, qu’il a pris sa retraite le même jour et qu’une pension de 117 200 $ lui a été accordée par le décret C.P. 1999-357 du 4 mars 1999;

Attendu que l’honorable Joseph D. Sheard est décédé le 19 janvier 2015 et qu’il laisse une survivante, Gloria Sheard,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’article 44 de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil accorde, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 58 600 $ à Gloria Sheard, payable à compter du 20 janvier 2015.
