Whereas the Honourable Terrance P. O’Connor, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice in and for the Province of Ontario, will attain the age of seventy-five years on March 24, 2015, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of subsection 99(2) of the Constitution Act, 1867;

And whereas the Honourable Terrance P. O’Connor has held judicial office for at least ten years;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, grants an annuity of $200,533.33 to the Honourable Terrance P. O’Connor, which will be adjusted in accordance with section 25 of the Judges Act, commencing on March 24, 2015, and continuing during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable Terrance P. O’Connor, juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario, atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 24 mars 2015 et que, en conséquence, il cessera d'occuper son poste à cette date en vertu du paragraphe 99(2) de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

Attendu que l’honorable Terrance P. O’Connor a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil accorde à l’honorable Terrance P. O’Connor, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 200 533,33 $, laquelle sera rajustée conformément à l’article 25 de la Loi sur les juges, payable à compter du 24 mars 2015.
