   Whereas, after consultation with the leader of every recognized party in the Senate and the House of Commons, and by resolutions of the Senate and of the House of Commons dated March 26, 2015, the Senate and the House of Commons have approved the appointment of Joe Friday as Public Sector Integrity Commissioner;

Therefore, the Committee of the Privy Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsections 39(1), 39(2) and 39.2(1) of the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act, advises that a Commission do issue under the Great Seal appointing Joe Friday of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Public Sector Integrity Commissioner, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of seven years, and fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is within the range GCQ 6 ($172,900 - $203,300).

   Attendu que, après consultation du chef de chacun des partis reconnus au Sénat et à la Chambre des communes, et en vertu des résolutions du Sénat et de la Chambre des communes en date du 26 mars 2015, le Sénat et la Chambre des communes ont approuvé la nomination de Joe Friday à titre de commissaire à l’intégrité du secteur public,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu des paragraphes 39(1), 39(2) et 39.2(1) de la Loi sur la protection des fonctionnaires divulgateurs d’actes répréhensibles, le Comité du Conseil privé recommande de nommer, par commission sous le grand sceau, Joe Friday, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de commissaire à l’intégrité du secteur public, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de sept ans, et fixe son traitement conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 6 (172 900 $ - 203 300 $).
