His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement on Social Security between the Government of Canada and the Government of the People’s Republic of China; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Pierre Poilievre, Minister of Employment and Social Development, or Alice Wong, Minister of State to assist the Minister of Employment and Social Development, or Candice Bergen, Minister of State to assist the Minister of Employment and Social Development, or Lynne Yelich, Minister of State to assist the Minister of Foreign Affairs, or Ian Shugart, Deputy Minister of Employment and Social Development, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement on Social Security between the Government of Canada and the Government of the People’s Republic of China.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord sur la sécurité sociale entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de la République populaire de Chine;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Pierre Poilievre, ministre de l’Emploi et du Développement social, ou Alice Wong, ministre d’État déléguée auprès du ministre de l’Emploi et du Développement social, ou Candice Bergen, ministre d’État déléguée auprès du ministre de l’Emploi et du Développement social, ou Lynne Yelich, ministre d’État déléguée auprès du ministre des Affaires étrangères, ou Ian Shugart, sous-ministre de l’Emploi et du Développement social, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord sur la sécurité sociale entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de la République populaire de Chine.
