Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Honourable J. Derek Green, Chief Justice of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be unable to act from March 11 to April 2, 2015, inclusive, and from June 2 to June 5, 2015, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for these periods;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867,

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable J. Derek Green as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective March 11, 2015;

(b) appoints the Honourable B. Gale Welsh to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 11, 2015;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable B. Gale Welsh as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective March 16, 2015;

(d) appoints the Honourable Raymond P. Whalen to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 16, 2015;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Raymond P. Whalen as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective March 21, 2015;

(f) appoints the Honourable B. Gale Welsh to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 21, 2015;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable B. Gale Welsh as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective April 3, 2015;

(h) appoints the Honourable J. Derek Green to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 3, 2015;

(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable J. Derek Green as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective June 2, 2015;

(j) appoints the Honourable B. Gale Welsh to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 2, 2015;

(k) terminates the appointment of the Honourable B. Gale Welsh as Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, effective June 6, 2015; and

(l) appoints the Honourable J. Derek Green to be Administrator of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 6, 2015.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, l’honorable J. Derek Green, juge en chef de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 11 mars au 2 avril 2015 et du 2 au 5 juin 2015 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable J. Derek Green au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 11 mars 2015;

b) nomme l’honorable B. Gale Welsh à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 11 mars 2015;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable B. Gale Welsh au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 16 mars 2015;

d) nomme l’honorable Raymond P. Whalen à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 16 mars 2015;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Raymond P. Whalen au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 21 mars 2015;

f) nomme l’honorable B. Gale Welsh à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 21 mars 2015;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable B. Gale Welsh au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 3 avril 2015;

h) nomme l’honorable J. Derek Green à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 3 avril 2015;

i) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable J. Derek Green au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 2 juin 2015;

j) nomme l’honorable B. Gale Welsh à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 2 juin 2015;

k) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable B. Gale Welsh au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, avec prise d’effet le 6 juin 2015;

l) nomme l’honorable J. Derek Green à titre d’administrateur
du gouvernement de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 6 juin 2015.
