   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport:

(a)  pursuant to section 3 of the Pilotage Act, approves the appointment by the Minister of Transport of Patricia Janet Mella of Stratford, Prince Edward Island, to be a member of the Atlantic Pilotage Authority to hold office during pleasure for a term of four years, in the place of William Charles Rooney;

(b)  pursuant to section 10 of the Pilotage Act, appoints Patricia Janet Mella, to be part-time Vice-Chairperson of the Atlantic Pilotage Authority; and

(c)  pursuant to section 14 of the Pilotage Act, fixes her remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is comprised of a per diem within the range ($160 - $250) and an annual retainer within the range ($2,600 - $3,000).

   Sur recommandation de la ministre des Transports, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a)  en vertu de l’article 3 de la Loi sur le pilotage, approuve la nomination par la ministre des Transports de Patricia Janet Mella, de Stratford (Île-du-Prince-Édouard), membre de l’Administration de pilotage de l’Atlantique, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de quatre ans, en remplacement de William Charles Rooney;

b)  en vertu de l’article 10 de la Loi sur le pilotage, nomme Patricia Janet Mella, vice-présidente du conseil à temps partiel de l’Administration de pilotage de l’Atlantique;

c)  en vertu de l’article 14 de la Loi sur le pilotage, fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi   conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, laquelle rémunération est composée d’un taux journalier dans l’échelle (160 $ - 250 $) et d’honoraires annuels dans l’échelle (2 600 $ - 3 000 $).
