    Whereas the Minister of Transport has consulted with the members of the Atlantic Pilotage Authority and with the users of its services, with respect to the appointment of a Chairperson, to serve part-time, pursuant to subsection 3(2) of the Pilotage Act;

   Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to section 3 of the Pilotage Act, appoints Lauria Anne Galbraith of Halifax, Nova Scotia, to be part-time Chairperson of the Atlantic Pilotage Authority to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years.

    Attendu que la ministre des Transports a consulté les membres de l’Administration de pilotage de l’Atlantique et les utilisateurs de ses services concernant la nomination du président du conseil, à temps partiel, en vertu du paragraphe 3(2) de la Loi sur le pilotage,

   À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre des Transports et en vertu de l’article 3 de la Loi sur le pilotage, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil nomme Lauria Anne Galbraith, d’Halifax (Nouvelle-Écosse), présidente du conseil à temps partiel de l’Administration de pilotage de l’Atlantique, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de trois ans.
