   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to section 3, subsections 5(1) and 7(1) of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Act, appoints Warren Edward (Ted) Hewitt of Ottawa, Ontario, to be President of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GC 9 ($223,800 - $263,200), effective March 1, 2015.

   Sur recommandation du ministre de l’Industrie et en vertu de l’articles 3 et des paragraphes 5(1) et 7(1) de la Loi sur le Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil nomme Warren Edward (Ted) Hewitt, d’Ottawa (Ontario), président du Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GC 9 (223 800 $ - 263 200 $), à compter du 1^er mars 2015.
