His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of Burkina Faso for the Promotion and Protection of Investments; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Edward Fast, Minister for International Trade, or Lynne Yelich, Minister of State (Foreign Affairs and Consular), or Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development, or Ivan Roberts, Ambassador of Canada to Burkina Faso, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of Burkina Faso for the Promotion and Protection of Investments.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement du Burkina Faso pour la promotion et la protection des investissements;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Edward Fast, ministre du Commerce international, ou Lynne Yelich, ministre d’État (Affaires étrangères et consulaires), ou Christian Paradis, ministre du Développement international, ou Ivan Roberts, ambassadeur du Canada auprès du Burkina Faso, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement du Burkina Faso pour la promotion et la protection des investissements.
