His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph (d) of the definition “appropriate Minister” in section 2 of the Financial Administration Act and subparagraph (a)(ii) of the definition “appropriate Minister” in subsection 83(1) of that Act,

(a) repeals Order in Council P.C. 2000-409 of March 23, 2000, that repeal taking effect on the day of the amalgamation referred to in paragraph (b);

(b) designates the Minister of Transport as the appropriate Minister for The Federal Bridge Corporation Limited, an amalgamated corporation resulting from the amalgamation of The Federal Bridge Corporation Limited with the St. Mary’s River Bridge Company, that designation taking effect on the day of that amalgamation and ceasing to have effect on the day before the day on which the designation in paragraph (c) takes effect; and

(c) designates the Minister of Transport as the appropriate Minister for The Federal Bridge Corporation Limited, an amalgamated corporation resulting from the amalgamation of The Federal Bridge Corporation Limited — an amalgamated corporation resulting from the amalgamation referred to in paragraph (b) — with the Blue Water Bridge Authority, that designation taking effect on the day of that amalgamation with the Blue Water Bridge Authority.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’alinéa d) de la définition de « ministre compétent », à l’article 2 de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, et du sous-alinéa a)(ii) de la définition de « ministre de tutelle », au paragraphe 83(1) de cette loi, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) abroge le décret C.P. 2000-409 du 23 mars 2000, cette mesure prenant effet à la date de la fusion prévue à l’alinéa b);

b) nomme la ministre des Transports à titre de ministre de tutelle de La Société des ponts fédéraux Limitée, une société issue de la fusion de La Société des ponts fédéraux Limitée avec la Société du pont de la rivière Ste Marie, cette mesure prenant effet à la date de cette fusion et cessant d’avoir effet le jour précédant la date de prise d’effet de la mesure visée à l’alinéa c);

c) nomme la ministre des Transports à titre de ministre de tutelle de La Société des ponts fédéraux Limitée, une société issue de la fusion de La Société des ponts fédéraux Limitée — une société issue de la fusion visée à l’alinéa b) — avec l’Administration du pont Blue Water, cette mesure prenant effet à la date de cette fusion avec l’Administration du pont Blue Water.
