Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, the Honourable Robert G. Richards, Chief Justice of Saskatchewan, will be unable to act from January 5 to January 18, 2015, inclusive, and from February 23 to March 15, 2015, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for those periods;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, replaces paragraph (d) of Order in Council P.C. 2014-1478 of December 12, 2014 with the following:

(d) appoints the Honourable Jacelyn A. Ryan-Froslie to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective January 5, 2015;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Jacelyn A. Ryan-Froslie as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective January 19, 2015;

(f) appoints the Honourable Robert G. Richards to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective January 19, 2015.

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert G. Richards as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective February 23, 2015;

(h) appoints the Honourable Peter A. Whitmore to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective February 23, 2015;

(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Peter A. Whitmore as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective March 16, 2015; and

(j) appoints the Honourable Robert G. Richards to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 16, 2015.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, l’honorable Robert G. Richards, juge en chef de la Saskatchewan, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 5 au 18 janvier 2015 et du 23 février au 15 mars 2015 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil modifie le décret C.P. 2014-1478 du 12 décembre 2014 en replaçant l’alinéa d) par ce qui suit :

d) nomme l’honorable Jacelyn A. Ryan-Froslie à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 5 janvier 2015;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Jacelyn A. Ryan-Froslie au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 19 janvier 2015;

f) nomme l’honorable Robert G. Richards à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 19 janvier 2015;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert G. Richards au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 23 février 2015;

h) nomme l’honorable Peter A. Whitmore à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 23 février 2015;

j) nomme l’honorable Robert G. Richards à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 16 mars 2015.
