   The Committee of the Privy Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, advises that the Honourable Raymond P. Whalen, a Judge of the Trial Division of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, be appointed Chief Justice of the Trial Division of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, and a member ex officio of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador.

   Sur recommandation du premier ministre, le Comité du Conseil privé recommande que l’honorable Raymond P. Whalen, juge de la Division de première instance de la Cour suprême de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, soit nommé juge en chef de la Division de première instance de la Cour suprême de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, et membre d’office de la Cour d’appel de la Cour suprême de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador.
