   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to subsection 5(1) and section 7 of the Northwest Territories Act:

(a)  reappoints Gerald W. Kisoun of Inuvik, Northwest Territories, as Deputy Commissioner of the Northwest Territories to execute the office and functions of the Commissioner during his absence or illness or other inability or when the office of Commissioner is vacant, for a term of three years; and

(b)  fixes his remuneration at the rate set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($11,500 - $13,000).

   Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) et de l’article 7 de la Loi sur les Territoires du Nord-Ouest, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a)  nomme de nouveau Gerald W. Kisoun, d’Inuvik (Territoires du Nord-Ouest), au poste de commissaire adjoint des Territoires du Nord-Ouest pour assurer l’intérim en cas d’absence ou d’empêchement du commissaire ou de vacance de son poste, pour un mandat de trois ans;

b)  fixe sa rémunération au taux spécifié à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (11 500 $ - 13 000 $).
