His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire for the Promotion and Protection of Investments; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Edward Fast, Minister for International Trade, or Lynne Yelich, Minister of State to assist the Minister of Foreign Affairs, or Christian Paradis, Minister for International Development, or Chantal de Varennes, Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire for the Promotion and Protection of Investments.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de la République de Côte d’Ivoire concernant la promotion et la protection des investissements;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Edward Fast, ministre du Commerce international, ou Lynne Yelich, ministre d’État déléguée auprès du ministre des Affaires étrangères, ou Christian Paradis, ministre du Développement international, ou Chantal de Varennes, ambassadeur du Canada auprès de la République de Côte d’Ivoire, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de la République de Côte d’Ivoire concernant la promotion et la protection des investissements.
