His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to section 5 of the Canada Water Act, approves that the Minister of the Environment enter, on behalf of Her Majesty in right of Canada, into the Canada-Northwest Territories Memorandum of Agreement on Hydrometric Monitoring for the Northwest Territories with the Government of the Northwest Territories, which agreement is substantially in accordance with the draft agreement set out in the attached schedule.

Sur recommandation de la ministre de l’Environnement et en vertu de l’article 5 de la Loi sur les ressources en eau du Canada, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve que la ministre de l’Environnement, au nom de Sa Majesté du chef du Canada, conclue le Protocole d’entente Canada-Territoires du Nord-Ouest sur la surveillance hydrométrique dans les Territoires du Nord-Ouest avec le gouvernement des Territoires du Nord-Ouest, lequel accord est conforme en substance au projet d’accord figurant à l’annexe ci-jointe.
