His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Exchange of Notes between the Government of Canada and the Multinational Force and Observers constituting an Agreement further amending the Agreement on the Participation of Canada in the Sinai Multinational Force and Observers; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Lynne Yelich, Minister of State (Foreign Affairs and Consular), or Peter McGovern, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Italian Republic, or Kerry Buck, Political Director and Assistant Deputy Minister, International Security, Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development, or Paul Gibbard, Counsellor, Embassy of Canada to the Italian Republic, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Exchange of Notes between the Government of Canada and the Multinational Force and Observers constituting an Agreement further amending the Agreement on the Participation of Canada in the Sinai Multinational Force and Observers.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Échange de notes entre le gouvernement du Canada et la Force multinationale et d’Observateurs constituant un Accord amendant de nouveau l’Accord sur la participation du Canada à la Force multinationale et d’Observateurs du Sinaï;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Lynne Yelich, ministre d’État (Affaires étrangères et consulaires), ou Peter McGovern, ambassadeur extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire du Canada auprès de la République italienne, ou Kerry Buck, directrice politique et sous-ministre adjointe, Sécurité internationale, ministère des Affaires étrangères, du Commerce et du Développement, ou Paul Gibbard, conseiller, ambassade du Canada auprès de la République italienne, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Échange de notes entre le gouvernement du Canada et la Force multinationale et d’Observateurs constituant un Accord amendant de nouveau l’Accord sur la participation du Canada à la Force multinationale et d’Observateurs du Sinaï.
