   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry:

(a)  pursuant to paragraph 3(c) and sections 6 and 8 of the Standards Council of Canada Act, re-appoints W.A. Sam Shaw of Calgary, Alberta, as a member of the Standards Council of Canada to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years; and

(b)  pursuant to subsection 7(1) of the Standards Council of Canada Act, designates W.A. Sam Shaw as Vice-Chairperson of the Standards Council of Canada to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years.

   Sur recommandation du ministre de l’Industrie, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a)  en vertu de l’alinéa 3c) et des articles 6 et 8 de la Loi sur le Conseil canadien des normes, renouvelle le mandat de W.A. Sam Shaw, de Calgary (Alberta), conseiller du Conseil canadien des normes à titre amovible pour une période de trois ans;

b)  en vertu du paragraphe 7(1) de la Loi sur le Conseil canadien des normes, désigne W.A. Sam Shaw au poste de vice-président du Conseil canadien des normes à titre amovible pour une période de trois ans.
