   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice,

(a)  pursuant to subsection 12(1) of the Supreme Court Act, directs that a Commission under the Great Seal do issue appointing John David Power of Ottawa, Ontario, a fit and proper person, being a barrister of at least five years standing, to be Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court of Canada, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years; and

(b)  pursuant to subsection 13(1) of the Supreme Court Act, fixes his remuneration and other employment conditions as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 5 ($141,300 - $166,200);

effective November 3, 2014.

     Sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a)  en vertu du paragraphe 12(1) de la Loi sur la Cour suprême, ordonne que soit prise une commission, revêtue du grand sceau, nommant John David Power, d’Ottawa (Ontario), une personne qualifiée inscrite depuis au moins cinq ans au barreau, au poste de registraire adjoint de la Cour suprême du Canada, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b)  en vertu du paragraphe 13(1) de la Loi sur la Cour suprême, fixe sa rémunération et autres conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 5 (141 300 $ - 166 200 $);

à compter du 3 novembre 2014.
