Whereas the Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers listed in column 1 of the attached schedule, promoted to their respective ranks by the Orders in Council listed in column 2 of the schedule, have applied for voluntary retirement from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on the dates indicated in column 3 of the schedule;
And whereas, pursuant to subsection 23(1) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Regulations, 1988, the Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police has forwarded recommendations to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness for the administrative discharge of these officers on the grounds of voluntary retirement as specified in paragraph 19(d) of the Regulations, effective on the dates indicated in column 3 of the schedule;
Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, pursuant to subsection 23(2) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Regulations, 1988, discharges the officers listed in column 1 of the schedule from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, effective on the dates indicated in column 3 of the schedule.
Attendu que les officiers de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada dont le nom figure à la colonne 1 de l’annexe ci-jointe, promus à leur grade respectif par les décrets indiqués à la colonne 2 de l’annexe, ont fait une demande de retraite volontaire de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, lesquelles retraites prennent effet aux dates indiquées à la colonne 3 de l’annexe;
Attendu que, en vertu du paragraphe 23(1) du Règlement de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada (1988), le commissaire de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada a transmis au ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile des recommandations de renvoi par mesure administrative de ces officiers pour retraite volontaire, comme le prévoit l’alinéa 19d) de ce règlement, lesquels renvois prennent effet aux dates indiquées à la colonne 3 de l’annexe,
À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile et en vertu du paragraphe 23(2) du Règlement de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada (1988), Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil renvoie de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, aux dates indiquées à la colonne 3 de l’annexe, les officiers dont le nom figure à la colonne 1 de l’annexe.
