His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes

(a) the Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the Republic of Korea; or

(b) the Minister of Foreign Affairs to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Edward Fast, Minister for International Trade, or Lynne Yelich, Minister of State (Foreign Affairs and Consular), or Simon Kennedy, Deputy Minister for International Trade, or David Chatterson, Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Korea, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the Republic of Korea.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise :

a) soit le premier ministre ou le ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de libre-échange entre le Canada et la République de Corée;

b) soit le ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Edward Fast, ministre du Commerce international, ou Lynne Yelich, ministre d’État (Affaires étrangères et consulaires), ou Simon Kennedy, sous-ministre du Commerce international, ou David Chatterson, ambassadeur du Canada auprès de la République de Corée, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de libre-échange entre le Canada et la République de Corée.
