Whereas the Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, the Honourable Robert J. Bauman, Chief Justice of British Columbia, will be unable to act from August 11 to August 22, 2014, inclusive, and from October 20 to October 24, 2014, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for those periods;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867,

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert J. Bauman as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective August 11, 2014;

(b) appoints the Honourable J. Keith Bracken to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective August 11, 2014;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable J. Keith Bracken as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective August 16, 2014;

(d) appoints the Honourable Robert T. Johnston to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective August 16, 2014;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert T. Johnston as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective August 23, 2014;

(f) appoints the Honourable Robert J. Bauman to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective August 23, 2014;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert J. Bauman as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective October 20, 2014;

(h) appoints the Honourable Robert T. Johnston to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective October 20, 2014;

(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert T. Johnston as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective October 25, 2014; and

(j) appoints the Honourable Robert J. Bauman to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective October 25, 2014;

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, l’honorable Robert J. Bauman, juge en chef de la Colombie-Britannique, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 11 au 22 août 2014 et du 20 au 24 octobre 2014 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert J. Bauman au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 11 août 2014;

b) nomme l’honorable J. Keith Bracken à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 11 août 2014;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable J. Keith Bracken au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 16 août 2014;

d) nomme l’honorable Robert T. Johnston à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 16 août 2014;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert T. Johnston au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 23 août 2014;

f) nomme l’honorable Robert J. Bauman à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 23 août 2014;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert J. Bauman au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 20 octobre 2014;

h) nomme l’honorable Robert T. Johnston à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 20 octobre 2014;

i) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert T. Johnston au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 25 octobre 2014;

j) nomme l’honorable Robert J. Bauman à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 25 octobre 2014.
